The University of Venda (UNIVEN) faced several challenges in developing and delivering online learning content.
Leveraging their knowledge and expertise in public health, Beyond Zero trains and mentors healthcare workers and community-based organisations on a variety of skills. These include clinical mentoring and quality improvement approaches, financial management, leadership and governance, data management, monitoring and evaluation. To reach and train more members in the public health sector, Beyond Zero needed a digital learning platform that could expand their existing course delivery, while building the capacity of facilitators to execute course materials in a digital environment.
